Today, we gather in the favorite place of
“Old Rock” with mixed feelings of sorrow
that he is not seated at his usually spot
in the front row and a feeling of pride
for what he has accomplished doing the
work of God for the community.
We bid farewell to Mr. Augustine Kojo
Armah Rockson, a man whose life was
defined by hard work, humility, service to
community and unwavering faith in the
Lord. Born on the 7th of March 1936 in
Western Region of Ghana, Sekondi to be
precise to Mr. Peter Armah Rockson and
Mrs. Catherine Rockson, both of blessed
memory. Augustine was the fourth child
in a family of fourteen children. His
childhood was filled with love and laughter
among siblings and family, and he grew
up learning the value of community and
resilience. These qualities would shape
his life and guide him through both
hardships and triumphs.
